Michael Parkhurst is a retired professional soccer player. He started playing soccer around the age of 6. Mike played club soccer in Rhode Island from ages 9-14. He Went to the IMG academy for High School and attended Wake forest for 3 years. He played professionally for 15 years – 10 years in Major League Soccer, and 5 in Europe. Parkhurst is an MLS cup champion and played in the open cup, danish cup, danish league and the gold cup with the United States men’s soccer team. He also played in the 2008 Olympics. He is currently working for tech company called Rippleworx as the VP of US Sports.
