Husband and wife team, Mike and Amanda Perry, created Skill of Strength to help people achieve their maximum potential.
Our mission at Skill of Strength is to help our clients achieve their health and fitness goals by providing results-driven training programs. It is our goal to make your time training at Skill of Strength the highlight your day. Whether your goal is to move better, feel better, perform better, or look better we will be there with you to guide you every step of the way.
We treat every client, regardless of age and fitness level, at Skill of Strength as an athlete. Every time you step into our gym in North Chelmsford, MA it’s an opportunity to unlock your body’s full potential. By addressing imbalances, asymmetries and weaknesses, we help you restore your body’s natural ability to move.
Skill of Strength offers personal training, kettlebell training, group training classes, membership, sports performance training and MMA Fight Prep training. We also offer online nutrition groups and various seminars and workshops.
Skill of strength is located at The Mill on 73 Princeton Street, Unit 9 in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. (We are located in the West Entry of the building.)
Our Facility and Atmosphere
Skill of Strength’s clients can take advantage of access to over 6,000 square feet of turf and rubber flooring as well as a host of free weights, kettlebells, battling ropes, suspension trainers, gymnast rings, speed sleds, slide boards, plyo boxes, olympic lifting equipment and other cutting edge, functional exercise tools.
The support you’ll find at Skill of Strength is unlike anything you have experienced before. Every personal training, strength coach and staff member is supportive and courteous and we’re lucky to have members who constantly motivate each other to always be their best.
Bonus: Our gym is clean and we have two showers so you can clean up after your workout, ready for your next adventure.

Why did we choose Skill of Strength as the name of our gym?
Strength is a skill. In order to get stronger you must develop and practice the appropriate skills. We take you back to the basics, helping you rediscover and master fundamental movements.
We believe it’s important never to add strength on top of dysfunction, so it is only once quality movement patterns are established that we can, and should, add quantity into your training.
